To be effective in social media advertising for your plumbing or HVAC company, all you need are simple and consistent posts.

You can accomplish this in a few different ways, but almost all of them require you to “buy” the likes. What we mean by “buying” likes is that you’ll likely need to offer something in exchange for it. Here are a few ways you can drum up some likes:

Post Relevant Content: 

The internet and social media are full of time-wasting memes. If you’re going to post to your social media following, make it something original, interesting, or informative.

Google should be your ultimate review platform, but second best is social media.

Don’t Try to Sell Services on Social Media:

You’re not the Dollar Shave Club. Trying to sell plumbing and HVAC services on social media is a waste of time and money. Social media is for BRANDING, not advertising.

Respond to Users: 

The whole point of social media is to engage your clients. Engage is another business buzzword that just means be nice and stay in touch. If someone comments on a post or asks a question, then be nice and respond!

Avoid Boosting Your Ego: 

Facebook and other social media platforms want to charge you money to show your post to more people than you have likes. Don’t spend your money this way.

Do Not Tag Your Employees and Ask Them Not to Like Your Company Posts: 

This may catch you off guard. Today’s employment environment is tough, and drawing direct attention to who your employees are and providing a communication path to them is ill-advised.
